Participants will be provided with state-of-the-art glasses with which they will be able to interact with different virtual elements, bringing the Tree of Science to life. Any user will be able to broaden their knowledge of the history of the iconic Tree of Science of the capital of Compostela, located at Rúa do Franco, 2, and the scientific branches that compose it. This allows cultural immersion through new technologies. All you have to do is go to the tree between 17.00 and 21.00 to enjoy the experience. It is open to the public. It will take place in person and will be accompanied by the LuXperience team.
The participant will complete a short questionnaire before starting the activity, and at the end will answer a short survey to optimise the prototype. The test will be carried out with two Microsoft Hololens 2 devices, and can be done individually or in groups of two people on site.
This project has the support and collaboration of the first Accelerator of tourism projects of the Xunta de Galicia, the Chamber of Commerce of Santiago, the Galician Delegation of CSIC, the University of Santiago de Compostela and the City Council of Santiago. These collaborators were the first to try out the Mixed Reality glasses this Tuesday at the CSIC headquarters in Santiago de Compostela.
The activity will take place until 30 September and to take part in it you just have to drop by between 17:00 and 21:00 on any of the days.
